Description

F-4 Front Loading Furnace MRF’s Model F-4 front loading furnace can be used for a wide variety of applications due to its flexibility and wide range of options. It is capable of temperatures up to 3000°C (5432F) and can be configured with metallic, graphite or ceramic hot zones which are interchangeable. Usable hot zone size is 5.5” high by 3” in diameter (140 mm x 75 mm). This furnace is simple to operate, reliable and economical, and can be used as a research and development tool or a batch furnace. Specifications: Materials & maximum temperatures: Ceramic, 1700°C max. Molybdenum, 1650°C max. Tantalum, 2100°C max. Tungsten, 2800°C max. Graphite, 3000°C max. Interchangeable hot zones Uniform usable +/-10C temperature zone 5” high by 3” diameter (140mm x 75mm). Rough or high-vacuum systems. Gas systems: inert, oxidizing or reducing. Can be mounted in physical testing frame. Numerous chamber ports for installing options. Available with high vacuum systems, flammable gas systems and other options
