The LMM brings milling, facing and drilling straight to the workpiece, in the workshop or on site. The milling head travels on a modular rail with recirculating-ball guides and a precision rack: each module adds 1000 mm of travel, up to 4550 mm of usable stroke with five modules.
Born on the Switch System platform, the LMM shares its head, arm and control panel with the RMM orbital milling machine: with a single Conversion Kit the same machine works flanges and circular seats. With the CNC Kit it becomes numerically controlled.
The SWITCH SYSTEM is the model Maucotools uses to develop its portable machine tools: milling head, arm and control panel form a common core, and a single Conversion Kit turns it from one type of machine into another. Today you buy a linear milling machine. Tomorrow, with a kit, it is an orbital milling machine. Same investment, same operator training, same spare parts.
