The UW23 is a latest generation unwinder. It is characterized by its efficient and space-saving design. The UW23 can process paper webs at speeds of up to 250 m/min. It can handle paper rolls with a diameter of up to 1320 mm and a weight of up to 800 kg. In digital finishing, everything starts with perfect feeding of the printed paper rolls to the finishing system. This means that web tension and guidance must be uniform and precise. To ensure this, the UW23 has pneumatically driven, active dancer rollers that regulate the web tension and create a buffer between the unwinder and the finishing line. Easy changing of the paper rolls with an electric roll lifter and the pneumatic tension shafts The new paper web can be easily spliced with the splice table. The unwinder has an electric roll lifter and an integrated splice table. Both relieve the operator and contribute to short set-up times.
