Units for continuous printing, with variable printing step Series of flexographic printing devices with variable printing step that can be installed in extrusion, bag-making and packaging lines. The plate holding cylinder can be easily replaced in order to obtain different printing steps. These units are designed to obtain one-colour, high quality, medium and large size prints. They can be either motorized or passive, being driven by the substrate which is being printed (plastic film, paper, foil) by means of rubber coated rollers. A pneumatic system allows the easy management of the printing and maintenance operations. All the MECAFLEX devices allow the use water based inks, by simply adding a pneumatic mechanism for ink mixing. PVM : The flexographic in-line printing units for medium / large sized prints of the MECAFLEX PVM series allow variable printing steps, as the plate holding cylinder is easily replaced. These units can be either motorized or passive, being driven by the substrate which is being printed (plastic film, paper, foil) by means of rubber-coated flanges. These units utilise the flexographic inking principle and are composed of a rubber-coated fountain roller and a metering roller. The ink is fed to the ink well by means of a pneumatic recirculation pump.
