Product overviewThe MLX90391 is a low-power 3D digital magnetometer in TSOT23-6L designed for micropower, cost-sensitive industrial applications. It measures magnetic fields on X, Y and Z axes using vertical and horizontal Hall-effect integration and provides 16-bit magnetic and IC temperature data over an I2C interface. Four user-selectable magnetic ranges (±65 mT, ±130 mT, ±260 mT, ±520 mT) allow use for either high-resolution position sensing or robust external-magnet anti-tamper protection up to ~500 mT. The device supports Wake-up on Change (Static Delta and Dynamic Delta), external synchronization via trigger pin or I2C, and two pin-selectable I2C addresses per device, enabling multiple pre-programmed MLX90391 units on a single I2C bus. Operating voltage is 1.7 V to 3.6 V and ambient temperature range is -40 °C to 125 °C. Standard package: TSOT23-6L.
