Blade Types (ISO 2409): Paint thickness 1–60 microns: 6 blades spaced 1 mm apart Paint thickness 61–120 microns: 6 blades spaced 2 mm apart Paint thickness 121 microns and above: 6 blades spaced 3 mm apart
