Metal separator for installation on injection-moulding machines and extruders. Metal separators of the PLASTRON 05 K type are used for the examination of plastic granulates, ground material or powders in slowly flowing material columns. They separate metal at the inlet of injection-moulding machines, extruders or blow-moulding machines. Even in the basic version, the device can examine material with temperatures up to 120 °C. This series is complemented with devices for even higher temperatures or abrasive products.
