A simple, efficient and effective solution to pulling the heads, after plucking and before evisceration.
Birds are guided into the Head puller between two positioning bars. As the bars gradually tighten, the head is guided into the space and removed by the force of the shackle continuing around the overhead conveyor. The heads can be captured in a container located at the end of the machine, or through a pump and processing solution (both solutions provided separately). Critical to the quality and yield of the final product is a precise neck incision from the killer. The Head puller is normally located after the plucking stage, before evisceration.
The Head puller linear is available in a single or double version, dependent upon line speed requirements, along with an optional receiving trough.
