Description

Overview
The Recovib TINY is a wireless 3‑axis shock and vibration recorder with onboard storage and embedded battery operation. It requires no acquisition box, no Wi‑Fi and no permanently connected cable. Configure via USB using the free Recovib Suite desktop software or the Tiny mobile app. Multiple units can record simultaneously with millisecond synchronization for multipoint measurements and modal analyses.

Models
  • TINY (original model)
  • TINY S2 (new generation, extended bandwidth and autonomy)

Key product highlights
  • Triaxial measurement (3‑axis accelerometer)
  • Standalone wireless operation with onboard data storage
  • Embedded rechargeable battery for autonomous campaigns
  • Compact, handheld form factor for easy deployment
  • Configurable measurement ranges and sampling rates

TINY S2 — new generation features
  • 24 h continuous autonomy (up to 14 days in periodic mode)
  • Useful bandwidth up to 1 000 Hz, sampling up to 4 kHz
  • USB‑C connection for fast downloads (24 h campaign in under 5 minutes)
  • Additional recording modes: periodic, trigger (threshold) and manual (magnet‑driven)
  • Launch offer: 10% discount on TINY S2 orders delivered before 31 December 2026

How it works
Configure the recorder via USB with Recovib Suite or the Tiny app, deploy it on the structure or machine to be monitored, then reconnect to a PC to download campaign files (device is recognized as external storage).

Recording modes
  • Continuous — uninterrupted acquisition, ideal for modal analysis and short high‑resolution campaigns
  • Periodic — recording windows alternating with sleep phases to extend autonomy for long‑duration monitoring
  • Trigger (threshold) — armed recording triggered when vibration exceeds a set threshold; includes pre‑trigger capture
  • Manual — start/stop by the operator using a magnet‑equipped tool

Software
  • Recovib Suite — free desktop software to configure recorders, download campaigns and perform initial analysis
  • Tiny app — mobile app to configure and start recordings from a smartphone

Typical applications
  • High‑frequency diagnostics on bearings, gearboxes and rotating machinery
  • Long‑duration campaigns on hard‑to‑reach assets using periodic mode
  • Intermittent event capture with trigger mode and pre‑trigger
  • Multi‑sensor modal analysis with millisecond synchronization

Specifications (summary)
Measuring ranges: ±4 / ±8 / ±16 g (software selectable)
Useful bandwidth: DC to 1 000 Hz
Sampling frequencies: 100 Hz / 500 Hz / 1 kHz / 2 kHz / 4 kHz
Recording modes: Continuous, periodic, trigger, manual
Autonomy: 24 h continuous; up to 14 days in periodic mode

Technical specifications
  • Triaxial accelerometer
  • Onboard data storage (no acquisition box required)
  • USB‑C fast download (full 24 h campaign in under 5 minutes for TINY S2)
  • Synchronization between multiple units for multipoint measurements and modal analysis
  • Typical use cases: bearing and gearbox diagnostics, long‑term monitoring, event capture, modal analysis
