General The "miface PN" universal field bus interface is designed for industrial applications. Profinet IO RT data are converted electrically isolated for transmission via serial interface with the "miface PN". Via Profinet-"in" and Profinet-"out" (switch function) the device can easily be integrated into existing applications. The mechanical design is suited for mounting to a top-hat rail. Bus termination and address selections can be configured with the DIP switches which are accessible at the front panel. Diagnosis LEDs indicate the current status.
