With the 1/4" electret measurement microphone M 370, a sensor with the standards of modern multi-channel measurement technology is offered, which can be directly connected to common measurement channels with IEPE supply. Typical applications are array arrangements and enveloping surface measurement methods, e.g. in automotive acoustics. The Class 1 frequency response according to IEC 61672, the exceptionally high sensitivity of 12.5 mV/Pa in this category, and the 7 mm standard diameter are considered special advantages and are comparable to conventional measurement microphones. Electret capsule and preamplifier circuit form an inseparable unit in a cylindrical metal housing. The electrical connection of the measuring microphone is made via a microdot connector or, with optional adapters, via BNC or SMB. The measuring microphone can be calibrated with the Pistonfon 5002 as well as common sound pressure calibrators using a 1/4" adapter. As optional accessories, the microphone holder MH 64 for diameter 7 mm, with its conical shape matched to the sound field, and the windscreen W 3 are recommended.
