Complete OptX™ 1kW handheld laser welding package including power source, industrial wire feeder and an 8 ft × 8 ft Class 1 laser enclosure rated to 2,500 W/cm² for safe integration into production facilities.

Overview
The Miller OptX™ Handheld Laser Welder provides laser welding capability for sheet metal and assemblies up to 5/16" thickness, delivered as a ready-to-weld solution. The package is intended for fabrication shops requiring faster cycle times and reduced post-processing.

  • Welding speed up to four times faster than TIG on comparable joints, reducing cycle time and labor.
  • Multiple welding modes: spot, autogenous and wire welding; includes a cleaning function for joint preparation.
