All specimen cutting dies are manufactured from high grade tools steel to guarantee long lasting cutting edge sharpness for highly precise and repeatable test specimen preparation and therefore a higher test result accuracy and improved repeatability. The cutter are precision machined and EDM cut before they are heat treated several times during the manufacturing process to remove any machining stresses. Each die is individually diamond lapped finished for increased cutting edge wear resistance. All cutters are supplied as a complete assembly with a spring loaded sample ejection system to remove the cut sample from the die and at the same time protect the cutting edges. Cutters are available in accordance to international standards but can also be manufactured to any size or shape required.
