Route planning Destination determination: Definition of start and finish points, if necessary with waypoints for flying around obstacles. Waypoints: Division of the route into stages to avoid hazards. Altitude and speed: Definition of the flight altitude and speed for each section. Authorisation Authorisation process: Submission to the German Federal Aviation Authority (LBA) for flights in sensitive areas. Safety assessment: Examination of the route for safety aspects by the LBA. Release: Approval or adjustment of the route in case of safety concerns.
