In the case of a fall onto the Latchways Retrieval SRL, the integral retrieval can be used to lift the casualty to a safe position for rescue. This shall be carried out according to a pre-defined emergency rescue plan. In order to operate the Retrieval, the following steps shall be taken: A Rescuer shall be positioned adjacent to the Latchways Retrieval SRL, ensuring they are in a safe, secure position to the side with the carry handle in front of them. Any equipment, clothing or jewellery shall be secured to ensure it cannot fall onto the casualty below.
