The HUMY 300 is an inline system for continuous moisture measurement of bulk materials. The HUMY provides real-time moisture readings that are used to monitor the production process and control dryers or automatic humidification. Over- / under-drying is avoided, fluctuations in product quality are reduced, material specifications are reliably met and energy consumption is reduced. The HUMY 300 is a capacitive measuring system. Best measuring results are achieved in screw conveyors, chain conveyors, the belt conveyor or in a hopper. An accuracy of up to 0.1% can be achieved. The HUMY 300 is the most robust and accurate moisture measurement system in its class. Each sensor is sealed, even in vibration channels. Sensor surfaces of POM, Teflon and ceramic are available to handle abrasive or aggressive materials. A high temperature and an ATEX option for zone 20 or 0 are also selectable. The unit is equipped with an analog output and an RS485 Modbus interface. Measurement results are processed on the customer's PLC and displayed at the control station. Windows software via USB connection is used for calibration.
