Neue Herbold SB screw shredder / bale breaker is highly regarded for its two fold main function. Users can enjoy a cluster free break down of PET baled bottles while requiring PET bottle size reduction. The bale breakdown is extremely efficient making the downstream bottle separation process quite effective and precise. The design entails intelligent operation with screw shaped shafts for installed for parallel operation. The bearing mounted shafts are protected from contamination such as sand and dirt by their placement in a chamber channel equipped in the lower channel area which has a screened surface. Size reduction and material breakdown occurs through the rotor shaft flights and counter teeth meshing at the discharge site.
