Type Cylinders “With Precise Position Sensing System“ Wherever cylinder strokes and stroke velocities need to be measured accurately, our Neuson engineering elite develops perfectly matched hydraulic cylinders with a position sensing system using integrated position sensors. Neuson’s series W cylinders, for example, can be designed with installed ultrasonic position sensing systems or absolute position sensing systems from Balluff or Temposonic and an integrated or external electronic analyser. Interface connections can be designed as analogue / SSI / CANbus / Profi bus-DP / EtherCAT or start/stop. For fi xed end-position monitoring Neuson series W cylinders are supplied with installed compression-resistant proximity switches. Many years of experience in development and the highest precision in manufacture are built into our very reliable and extremely precise W cylinders. Integrated load-holding valves and pre-mounted pipe-break protection systems are also part of our extensive range of supply. Tailor-made for our customers and fitted with a special position sensing system our W cylinders monitor position, stroke and velocity to within hundredths of a millimeter even under the toughest environmental conditions. Of course, we will also supply you with the relevant measuring instruments and the necessary peripheral equipment for appropriate use of your cylinder with its position sensing system.
