Nexen Group’s safety-certified static Rod Locks deliver precision holding with virtually no backlash, providing high accuracy in demanding industrial applications. These spring-engaged, air-released units are offered in ISO and NFPA sizes, accept standard accessories, and are designed for sealed operation in harsh environments.

Product Details
Nexen offers Rod Locks for cylinder mounting or stand-alone guide rod mounting. Units can be stacked to increase holding force. Available finishes include natural brushed aluminum or corrosion-resistant anodized finish. Optional proximity sensors provide engagement/disengagement feedback and support integration into safety circuits.

Safety Certification
Spring-engaged, air-released Rod Locks are safety rated to comply with ISO 13849-1; recommended configurations can achieve Category up to 4 and Performance Level up to e when correctly integrated.
