The Di Nicola Anti-Cavitation Joint Geeno V2® was born from the co laboration between the research and development department of the Di Nicola company and the hydraulic laboratories of the Polytechnic University of Milan.
During the experimentation that lasted about two years, the Di Nicola company succeeded in developing a function capable of linking two previously incompatible objectives, the maintenance of the flow values with the cance lation of the hydraulic para meters that trigger the phenomenon of cavitation in the pipeline. This objective was possible by linking together four different construction parameters, managing to determine a formula that a lows the construction of a joint capable of eliminating the cavitation in the pipeline produced by a pump in action, by a valve in partialization or by the triggering of a series of hydraulic parameters capable of generating the phenomenon of a Turbine Draft Tube.
