OverviewA set of precision manual measuring microscopes for industrial measurement and image analysis applications. Designed to provide repeatable data capture and a straightforward user workflow for inspection, measurement and verification of 2D and 3D features across a wide range of components and industries.
High precision constructionPrecision mechanical construction with digital control delivers high measurement accuracy and consistent repeatability for in-line and quality assurance applications. Instruments are engineered for long service life and stable performance across multiple operators.
Optical performanceNikon CFI60-2 objective system provides long working distances, flat-field, high-contrast images and telecentric design to minimise measurement error. Optics support brightfield, darkfield, polarised (POL) and differential interference contrast (DIC) for accurate measurement of low-contrast features.
IlluminationAll true LED diascopic illuminators with switchable white and green light sources (no filter required). Intensity is controllable from the instrument or via PC. LED illumination ensures constant colour temperature and removes the need for bulb replacement.
Measuring stages and capacitySix stage sizes available for MM-800N (range from 12" x 8" / 300 mm x 200 mm down to 2" x 2" / 50 mm x 50 mm). Three smaller stages up to 6" x 4" (150 mm x 100 mm) are compatible with MM-400N. The largest stages include fine rotation control for precise alignment. MM-800N supports large, heavy and tall components (example: 300 mm x 200 mm XY travel, up to 20 kg mass, 200 mm height above stage glass).
Controller and softwareThe MM controller interface transfers LED illumination settings, XY-stage coordinates and Z-axis data to Nikon’s data processing units and E-MAX software. DP-E1A data processing unit combines precision with usability; teaching and measurement files can be exported via USB. E-MAX provides a unified GUI for measurement tools, data processing and export.
Modularity and accessoriesModular system with two optical system options and a wide range of dedicated accessories to optimise measurement performance and inspection workflows. Optional Focusing-Aid (FA) projects patterns to enable repeatable Z-axis focusing and reduce operator variation.
