The Freehook® opening pulley is a low-friction open ring with a Dyneema® textile connector. It can be used to replace a pulley or divert a rope or wire rope maneuver. It's an excellent alternative to the classic opening pulley for hooking a flying rope. Leveraging a pulley reduces the weight of the fallen person by half, so a strong partner can reel in the victim alone.
