The Textile-Fuse®, is a retaining fuse that ensures the connection between two elements and, in the event of exceeding the limits authorized or declared by the "Man of the Art" user or installer, reduces the tensions on the structure to which it is attached.
Loads to be applied to anchor points are calculated when your anchor points are checked by approved bodies.
This product is patented:
"Safety device for anchors and ropes" Patented FR2105794
The Textile-fuse® is a safety fuse for so-called "anchor and tether" assemblies.
Operating principle:
The first state, known as "working voltage"
Under load, the textile fuse remains intact because the load is below the working load limit (TLS).
The second condition, known as the "working load limit"
The textile fuse opens when the load applied to the anchor point has exceeded the working load limit (TLS), in order to release the tension on the anchor point and indicates to the user that the calibrated and authorized service limit load has been exceeded.
The third state, known as the "breaking limit tension"
The textile fuse breaks when the given load is greater than the ultimate limit tension in order to release all the tension (feathering the structure).
NB: the rules of the art and the usual know-how of craftsmen must be respected, even if you install our textile fuses.
