The Prussik-loop is a self-locking loop rope with a sewn loop. It is ideal for use as a brake during a rope descent. This product complies with : (in progress - Quintin Certifications) Standard EN 354 and EN 795: 2012 type B and Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment. Complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The Prussik-loop is a rope with a sewn splice, ideal for use as a brake during a rope descent. Fields of application : Temporary anchoring at height safety nets, work on scaffolding, towers, etc. Work in confined spaces Rescue Rope access BTP Operation : Brake when descending the rope with the Prussik self-locking knot. Specifications: The Prussik-loop consists of : A braided loop made of aramid, a fiber known for its resistance to high temperatures and good mechanical properties. A PES protective sheath. A spliced and sewn loop overmolded in PE. This product must not be used beyond its limits or in any situation other than that for which it is intended.
