Overview
The InfraLab Series 9 is an at-line analyzer based on multi-wavelength near-infrared (NIR) reflectance for rapid, non-contact measurement of moisture and other key constituents. Designed for food, tobacco and bulk industrial products, it delivers representative, lab-comparable results with minimal sample preparation and a typical analysis time of ~5 seconds.

InfraLab At-Line Tobacco Analyzer
Measurement of moisture, nicotine, total sugars, total volatiles, glycerol, propylene glycol and methanol in GLT, primary & strips, blended strips, re-dried cut lamina, final blend, WTS, CRS, re-dried stem, expanded tobacco, roll-your-own tobacco, pipe tobacco and cigar filler.

How it Works
InfraLab uses multi-wavelength NIR reflectance in a non-contact configuration. A sample dish is placed on the turntable; the instrument automatically detects the dish and starts the analysis. Onboard calibration tools allow alignment to reference laboratory methods.

Data & Connectivity
Substantial onboard storage (up to ~100,000 sample files). Data export via encrypted USB and Ethernet; supports transfer to PC and integration with LIMS or data-management workflows for traceability and further analysis.

Replace Laboratory Methods
Intended as a routine replacement for lab techniques such as loss-on-drying, Karl Fischer or gravimetric moisture tests and for chemical methods for fat/protein (e.g. Soxhlet, Weibull‑Stoldt, Kjeldahl) once calibrated. Advantages include speed, minimal sample prep and measurement of larger, more representative samples.
