Description
Manual melt filters are the least expensive and most suitable option for processes that require infrequent changes. The BKG® NorCon™ EM/EMR is our most basic discontinuous melt filter suitable for extrusion and recycling processes.
Manual screen changers minimize costly downtime for screen replacement. With a simple swing of the handle lever during a routine shutdown, clean screens are quickly brought on-line. No line disconnection occurs, and full production is re-established.
Retrofit
The BKG® NorCon™ EM can easily be retrofitted with a ratchet mechanism mounted to the top. This ratchet increases the leverage, meaning that the BKG® NorCon™ EMR model requires less force to operate the swivel plate.
