Lifting open barrel hoist are essential devices for lifting and moving heavy loads in industrial settings. Designed and manufactured in-house for over 40 years, OMIS lifting open barrel hoist are available in a wide range of capacities and configurations, ensuring high-quality construction, optimal performance and long service life. Lifting winches, commonly installed on overhead travelling cranes, are supplied pre-assembled on the trolley, complete with motor, brake and wheels, ready for quick installation. The lifting and travelling movements of the trolley are controlled by an inverter to ensure maximum precision and control. Standard hook strokes are 10 and 20 metres, but longer lengths can also be produced on request. Two main versions are available: single-sheave, with single rope winding (2/4/6 strands) and double-sheave, with double rope winding (4/8/12/16 strands), ideal for more precise load positioning. The drum can be positioned parallel to the crane beams (standard configuration) or orthogonally, to reduce the lateral footprint of the trolley. Single-sheave winches have speeds from 4 to 12 m/min, while double-sheave winches are designed for capacities from 3.2 to 60 tonnes. Higher values are available on specific request. The load limiter is connected to an electronic board that allows the management of two load thresholds, in accordance with European safety regulations.
