The OMRON TM S Series is a family of collaborative robots (cobots) designed for assembly, palletizing, inspection, logistics and other applications. The series includes multiple models with different reach and payload options, including DC power mobile robot compatible, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET versions. The OMRON TM S Series is delivered with enhanced safety and certification compliance.

Overview
The OMRON TM Robot S Series provides a wide variety of models suitable for different applications. It offers 33 safety features, meets ISO 13849-1 (Cat.3, PL d) and ISO 10218-1 safety standards (TUV Nord certified), and includes UL/CSA certifications. With the PalletBoost 5 license, payload performance can be increased by 5 kg for select heavy-payload models.

Operational and Programming Improvements
Project Stop and Error Stop Handling: users can create special subflow logic to define robot steps after project or error stop.
Tool Settings Improvements: Tool Settings option added on the project page for easier access.
Singularity Handling: slows the robot at singularity points to avoid joint speed errors and sudden stops (disables motion blending when enabled).
Redefined Payload Settings in Motion Nodes: new UI allows easier configuration for picking/releasing workpieces; external force/torque sensor support for automatic payload mass calculation and compensation.
Pattern-Matching UI: three algorithms available in TMvision Find tasks; object detection score represented as a single numerical value.

New safety functions support a wide variety of safety devices and switch configurations without requiring an additional safety controller.

Payload Enhancement (PalletBoost 5)
