OverviewPAC Project Basic is the free edition of PAC Project automation software, providing control programming, Windows-based HMI creation, and I/O configuration for industrial automation, process control, building automation, remote monitoring, data acquisition, and IIoT applications. It supports groov EPIC processors and SNAP PAC controllers and is suitable for projects from simple equipment management to full industrial control.
Includes- PAC Control Basic — a flowchart-based tool for developing control programs to run on groov EPIC processors and SNAP PAC controllers
- PAC Display Basic — tools for creating Microsoft Windows-based human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for EPIC and SNAP PAC systems
- PAC Manager — utility for configuring and maintaining SNAP PAC controllers, brains, and I/O
- Tools (PAC Utilities) and EtherNet/IP Configurator
Developer and IIoT featuresPAC Project Basic provides access to I/O point and variable data via HTTP/HTTPS and a RESTful API on groov EPIC processors and SNAP PAC controllers. Data is returned in JSON format to enable secure programmatic access and integration with developer tools and custom applications.
