The Optris CThot LT pyrometer is engineered to thrive in extreme conditions within high-temperature environments, boasting exceptional temperature resistance of the sensing head. Operating in ambient temperatures of up to 250 °C without additional cooling presents no challenges for this infrared thermometer, making the pyrometer particularly suitable for integration into machines across various applications, including dryers, furnaces, heat-treating processes, plastics and textiles processing, and semiconductor production.
The Optris CThot LT series offers temperature measurement capabilities ranging from –40 °C to 975 °C with a response time starting from 100 ms. Selectable 10:1 or 2:1 optics and a compact sensor head size further enhance its versatility.
The separate control box of the CThot LT provides high variability with selectable analog outputs and several digital interfaces. Its unique advantages for installation in applications with high surrounding temperatures stem from a robust and ambitious design, allowing operation of the sensing heads for temperatures up to 250 °C without additional cooling. The compact stainless steel housing, measuring 29 mm in diameter and 55 mm in length, ensures durability in harsh conditions. The infrared pyrometer minimizes thermal gradients along the sensor head, optimizing thermal shock resistance for accuracy and repeatability in rapidly changing ambient temperatures
Manufactured in Germany to meet stringent quality requirements, these pyrometers undergo meticulous calibration to government standards such as PTB or NIST. Customization options, including different cable sizes, are available for large-quantity OEM customers.
