The components that are primarily responsible for introducing heat into the system are cooled with a high water flow rate. The water-cooled orbital welding heads are universal and ideal for small spaces thanks to the slender design.

Our new generation of three OSK SW weld heads – even narrower, technically optimised and redesigned. For very high thermal capacities, we also offer the gascooled S series weld heads in a water-cooled SW version (the structural width stays the same). The closed water cooling system covers the bottom collet housing area.

Versatile use with just one drive unit
At Orbitec, the drive unit, hose package, and welding head are designed in a modular way. This allows various cassette welding heads to be operated with the same drive unit (except for the microfitting welding head). The result: reduced investment costs and greater flexibility in welding applications.
