LifeMat® wet laid glass non-woven solutions help manufacturers improve the performance and lifespan of batteries. Pasting Mat is for use in flooded lead-acid batteries for stop-start engines. Retainer Mat is for heavy duty and deep cycle batteries. PERFORMANCE ATTRIBUTES DESIGNED FOR LEAD-ACID BATTERIES (PASTING MAT) • Excellent corrosion resistance with very low electrical resistance (<17mΩ/mm2). • Minimal effect on cold cranking due to the low electrical resistance. EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE (PASTING MAT) • Re-enforces the positive active mass at the surface while preventing positive active mass shedding. • Exceptional oxidation resistance provides additional protection throughout the lifetime of the battery. EASE OF USE (PASTING MAT) • LifeMat® is pasted onto/into the positive active mass where upon drying/curing a very strong bond is formed eliminating the need for pasting paper. • Easy to cut and compatible with continuous pasting processes. • Easily applicable in continuous pasting process.
