Description

With the LA-1800G3 robot Panasonic presents Robots & Welding Systems Europe a new handling robot. It has a maximum payload of 26kg and has a working range of up to 1,801m. Its scope lies in the handling of tools, components and TIG welding equipment. Thanks to the cooperation function, when combining the LA-1800G3 robot with a welding robot from Panasonic Industry Europe, the movements of the robots can be synchronized. Thus, only the position of the component must be programmed during welding and the relative position of the welding torch relative to the component is automatically maintained. The programming of the weld remains as easy as with a fixed component. Forced position welds can now be avoided using this technique. Likewise, with the new LA-1800G3, the components can be automatically loaded or unloaded for more cost-effective and faster production. The innovative G3 control also allows for cooperative operation with the welding robots of the Panasonic TM / TL-G3 series.
