Product overview
The PAYAPRESS HPM-63S is a single-operator automatic sheet metal punching and notching machine designed for precise punching, corner cutting and ventilation louvres on panels, switchgear, elevators and extractor housings. A double-acting 16-ton hydraulic system (200 bar) drives each punch and notch through steel up to 2 mm using a 63 cm throat. A heavy 1,200 kg frame and a 70 mm adjustable punch stroke ensure stable, repeatable operation. A laser center finder and optional digital position indicators support fast, accurate hole placement.

Operator controls & positioning

• Each axis references a fixed HOME point (X at travel right end; Y at stroke end) detected by an inductive sensor for repeatable placement.

Dies and tooling
The machine uses a modular die system with replaceable components (punch, die/matrix, connectors, locking nut) so only worn parts are changed, lowering tooling costs. Common die types supported include:

• Small square dies (7×7, 9×9, 15×15 mm) — alternatives to screws and fasteners
• Square die 22×22 mm — legacy switchgear-panel standard (produced on request)
