Description
The portable gas detector is a multi-gas measuring instrument for simultaneous monitoring of up to four gases (flammable gases, O2, CO, H2S). It uses electrochemical and catalytic sensors and provides measurement accuracy of ≤ ±5 % of full scale. The device features a backlit LCD display (real-time values, system status, date/time, battery level). If preset alarm limits are exceeded, warnings are given via visual, audible and vibration alarms. Alarm parameters (low/high alarm, STEL, TWA) are user‑adjustable. The unit offers several operating modes (measurement, self-test, single-point and multi-point calibration) and internal storage for alarm events. Operation is via an intuitive keypad with menu navigation. Power is supplied by an internal lithium‑ion battery providing up to 8 h of operation. The housing is impact‑resistant plastic with non‑slip rubber, protection class IP66; explosion protection Ex ib IIB T3 Gb. Suitable for industry, mining, wastewater plants and chemical production.
