We offer two-axis rotary tilt tables with pre-loaded gear wheels in the ZASR series. Here, spur gears or bevel wheel sets are used. The installation space and the horizontal or vertical arrangement of the spindle are decisive for the selection. Since we mechanically or electronically tension the gear wheels against each other, they are backlash-free. Their use is predominant in the trunnion axes. The table axes are designed with direct drives. The duty cycles of gears are usually higher compared to worm drives. In this respect, these drives are to be classified between worm gear drives and direct drives with regard to their dynamics. The table axis can be equipped with direct drives of the ATD dyn series for turning operations.
