Description

The Neutronic [i], will allow you to capture an image using neutrons a technique which is particularly useful when the object you are trying to capture is encased by dense metal, for instance. - Faster imaging - Superior spatial resolution - Large field of view - Easily serviced - Customizable options Description The Neutronic [i] system provides both higher resolution and greater detection efficiency compared to traditional scintillator-based systems available today. Every Neutronic [i] is equipped with a special Photonis-manufactured* image grade 100x100 square millimeter MCP along with a vacuum chamber, high-voltage power supply, and controller. The Photonis Neutronic [i] provides superior <50 µm spatial resolution combined with high detection efficiency of 70% cold neutron or 50% thermal neutron imaging (see comparison below). Additionally, the Neutronic [i] provides large format still images in mere seconds - a fraction of the time it would take using a scintillator-based system. Images are available within 60-90 minutes for tomography, limiting the exposure time of the sample to the neutron beam. The Neutronic [i] can be paired with one of Photonis’ Nocturn cameras which are available with a variety of outputs to fit your requirements. Each camera features a CMOS sensor to provide high-resolution images, even in poor lighting conditions.
