Surface and edge inspection in the inclined freefall mode at a rate of up to 1,000 pieces per min. Any faulty parts with grooves, scratches, dents etc. or with inaccurately cut edges will be sorted out immediately, ensuring that only product 100-percent checked and perfectly flawless is shipped to the customer.

Detectable defects and irregularities
The system detects and classifies surface defects, such as inclusions, grooves, scratches or dents, over the complete product length. It also checks the cut edges for burs or other irregularities. With six high-speed cameras of more than 2,500 pixels each, the system detects surface defects down to 30 µm.
