GCUT 8X30 – High-Precision Laser Degating System for Plastic Injection Molding
The GCUT 8X30 is a high-performance CO₂ laser workstation specifically developed for degating plastic injection-molded parts. Equipped with eight galvanometric laser heads (30W each), and a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of over 40,000 hours, this machine ensures fast, precise and reliable cutting in high-volume industrial environments.
Each laser head operates within a configurable working area of 70x70 mm or 110x110 mm, depending on the optical lens, adapting to various degating and micro-cutting needs. While optimized for degating in the automotive sector, the GCUT 8X30 also supports laser engraving when required.
An automated rotary axis provides accurate angular positioning of the parts, enabling more complex and versatile cutting geometries.
GCUT 8X30 is built to integrate seamlessly into automated production lines, supporting continuous operations with robotic arms and Cartesian axis systems. It also operates in standalone mode, making it suitable for flexible manufacturing cells.
With a fully enclosed housing and compliance with Class 1 laser safety standards, the GCUT 8X30 ensures maximum operator protection and full compatibility with industrial environments.
