The SD is a mechanically driven conveyor that utilizes smooth horizontal motion to convey free-flowing materials such as snack foods, poultry, meats and vegetables. The SD’s intelligent drive design eliminates leaf-springs and other moving parts to drastically reduce maintenance costs and simplify the cleaning process. The SD uses slow-advance-quick-return movement – also known as differential motion – to convey product smoothly along its pan without the vertical throw used by most traditional vibratory conveyors—this gentle forward-back motion ensures minimal seasoning loss and makes the conveyor especially suitable for fragile or heavily coated products. With speed rates up to 40mph and at lengths of up to 100 feet, the SD can accomplish extremely long transfers using only a single drive.
