This machine is manufactured by Proceco. The PROCECO AWW aircraft wheel washer cleaning system provides an automated, cost effective cleaning solution. The standard model uses recirculating, hot alkaline aqueous solution sprayed onto the wheel at high pressure to remove oil, grease, and dirt. At the same time, the rotating brush scrubs the external wheel surface to remove accumulated rubber on the bead seat area. The wheel is then rinsed with freshwater and blow-off dried. The aqueous parts washer (shown above) is equipped with an optional automatic load/unload system to reduce handling and the risk of injury. Other options such as higher jet pressure and slurry blast are available to tailor the aircraft wheel cleaning system to meet user’s exact needs.
