Description

Designed both for dry beneficiation of ore and non-metallic materials as well for cleaning of different nonmagnetic materials from magnetic impurities. Supplied to the enterprises of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy for: - obtaining of sintered ore during benefication of the oxidized iron ores; - withdrawing of tailings by dry method before the operation of wet grinding for benefication of magnetite ores; - benefication of carbon ferrochrome slags; - benefication of clinker of metallurgy; - benefication of crude ilmenite concentrate. Application industries: Coal mining industry Ferrous metal production Lead and zinc industry Mining and beneficiation of ore raw materials for ferrous metallurgy Power engineering Production of ferroalloys Titanium-magnesium industry Principle of operation: The rotating drum transports the product through a stationary magnetic field created by permanent magnets, attracting the magnetic material to a working surface of the drum. Non-magnetic material falls down freely from a drum, and the magnetic material attracted to its surface is transferred to the unloading area. Design features of the separator: - Designed both with the ferrite and modern high-energy neodymium magnets (Nd – Fe – B) ensuring the value of the magnetic induction at the drum surface within 80-800 mT. - Permanent magnets of high-energy provide new possibilities in those spheres of activity of magnetic systems where powerful magnetic forces are required. - The magnetic system configuration can be both radial and axial for providing of maximal efficiency. - The top-feed system is available either with the sliding tray or with the tray vibratory feeder for uniform feeding. - Designed with drum diameter within 400 to 900 mm and length of working zone within 500 to 1500 mm. - On request, separator can be equipped either with a control panel complete with a frequency converter for stepless controlling of the shell speed or without the frequency converter with one or two fixed speeds and stepless starting of the drive. - Components of the world leading companies (Nord, SKF) with high performance are used.
