The JB QUALIFIX® is an inflatable manhole formwork. It is an alternative to heavy wooden or metal formwork. This solution is used for sealing cylindrical manholes. Compared to standard formwork, it saves up to 5 hours of work on the site. In addition, its perfect watertightness protects the manhole chamber from possible residues that could fall into it during concreting. Thus, the workers do no longer have to go down to clean it. The JB QUALIFIX® acts like a standard manhole formwork. The operators slide the deflated tube into the manhole. Using a small compressor, they inflate it until the solution fits the entire wall for a perfect seal. Once inflated, the operators can pour the concrete all around, without dirtying the manhole. The use of this solution provides a better quality manhole seal that will last over time. This product was imagined by Jonathan Bracco, an employee of the company TRBA. He thought of it in order to protect his teams as much as possible. Indeed, this inflatable formwork allows the prevention of the FME risk since it has the function to avoid any fall of operators or objects in the inspection chamber. Thus, the operators are protected during the whole duration of the manhole sealing.
