Expand&Turn Light – for the quick, flexible and ergonomic handling of smaller reels. The reel is gripped by the core with an expander block locking the reel to the axle by the own weight of the reel. Lifts and rotates the reel from vertical to horizontal position or vice versa, for transferral to machine or other equipment. The rotation is very simple and effortless due to the built-in gas spring. The expander can be set in one of two modes, an active mode to lift and rotate and one inactive mode for unloading. Expand&Turn Light is designed to handle reels of different types but limited to 3” (76mm) cores. The max load is determined by what type lift trolley it is mounted on, the measurements and weight of the reel and how the reel is to be lifted. The maximum allowed load for the tool remains at 40kg.
