The Outdoor Noise Measurement Kit converts the Nova into a semi-permanent outdoor noise monitor. Designed for long-term, unattended measurements, it provides up to 14 days of continuous operation and protects the Nova and microphone from harsh conditions.
 
Designed for long-term environmental monitoring
The Outdoor Kit is suitable for applications where noise must be measured over extended periods. It is ideal for boundary noise monitoring, construction and demolition sites, and environmental assessments, where noise levels must be monitored over several days or weeks. When paired with the Nova Environmental Sound Level Meter, repeat timers automatically start and stop measurements.
 
Reliable operation in harsh conditions
The Outdoor Kit’s preamplifier is hermetically sealed, allowing accurate measurements in rain and high humidity. The Nova remains protected inside a rugged, lockable case built to withstand the harsh conditions typically found on construction and demolition sites.
 
Simple setup and continuous power
The weatherproof case makes it easy to transport and set up the Outdoor Kit on site. It provides up to 14 days of monitoring using two internal rechargeable batteries, or can be connected to an external power source for longer-term monitoring. The outdoor preamplifier, windshield, bird spike, and tripod support stable, accurate measurements in exposed environments.
