FULL LENGTH PREPARATION WITH HOTMELT APPLICATION The RuB is an alternative to the conventional roll-up machines for cured wool with angled belt conveyors and compression roller. The single belt loop offers a unique and sensitive roll-up principle, where the increasing belt loop diameter continuously adapts to the programmed compression ratio and the preset, final diameter. The pre-compression system compresses the mat just before it is rolled up. The system moves dynamically throughout the roll-up process. It moves backwards to make room as the roll diameter increases, and upwards to reduce the pre-compression to achieve homogeneous thickness of the product in the finished roll (the compressed outer layers compress the inner layers further during the process).
