Description

Pressure filters for final suspended solids, odours, colour and metals removal. The pressure filters (with sand, activated carbon, zeolite or other filtering media) assure a high quality effluent through a simple and reliable process. The flow is forced through the filtering bed by the feeding pump. The flow is continuous until the differential pressure between feed and discharge side reaches a certain level. The pressure increase is caused by the clogging of the filtering media. In case of material having a limited life cycle, it may be removed and replaced with new material. The high filtration velocity allows to have installations with a smaller footprint compared to gravitational systems. Separate microscopic suspended solids. Eliminate odours. Eliminate colours. Remove Iron. Remove Manganese. Pressure filters are used both for waste and drinking water. The systems can be automated and supplied with pneumatic or electrically actuated valves. The broad range allows to have a suitable unit for every application. From 4 to 70 m3/h
