The Radonix XYZ Cutter CNC Controller is engineered for cutting applications where a Z-axis motor—servo or stepper—handles vertical motion independently of the main G-code. By incorporating the XYZ-Cutter interface, operators can directly execute design files without converting to G-code, edit designs (scale, rotate, flip), and even select individual parts from larger files to define custom cutting sequences. The software also allows for on-the-fly misalignment corrections of heavy sheets, separate pause controls before/during/after cutting, and reverse execution or demo runs without activating the cutting output.
Thanks to its optional smart height control, the Z-axis can be adjusted automatically to maintain a consistent distance between the torch and workpiece. Additionally, the operator retains manual control over the Z-axis through physical buttons or designated on-screen keys, ensuring precise cut depth adjustments in real time. For specialized tasks, the interface even supports mapping two-dimensional designs onto cylindrical surfaces such as pipes.
For optimal performance, this interface can be paired with a Radonix PC-Smart 4A or Radonix PC-Pro LAN 4A controller. Both offer robust LAN communication, high-speed pulse outputs, and advanced I/O capabilities—delivering accurate, efficient, and user-friendly cutting solutions for modern manufacturing environments.
