The laser system for wheelset measurement is designer for monitoring of wheelset Wheel profile wear. The system consists of the modules installed in tracks and providing the following functions: Vehicle nad wheelset identification. Data collection and processing with optimisation of wheel profile machining. Full communications with Undefloor Wheel Lathe. The wheel measurement is carried out on a vehicle running with the maximum speed of 10 km/h. The scope of measurements can include the following parameters: -Full wheel tread profile -Wheel flange height. -Wheel flange width. -Wheel flange inclination qR. -Wheel tread diameter. -Wheelset back to back distance -Distance between active surfa ces.
