Description

Product overview
T1 Power & Free conveyors are based on a twin-track system for overhead suspended transport. The top track carries the power chain while the bottom track guides the carrier trolleys. Pusher dogs fitted at equal pitch on the power chain have movable cams that latch onto the trolleys to form an interlink connection, enabling independent indexing and buffering.

Max. load
Max. load bar weight: up to 600 kg*
*Total weight including load bar and depending on trolley configuration.

Stop stations and buffering
Stop stations (standard, ATEX or high-temperature design for curing ovens) are controlled and monitored by the conveyor main control system. They disengage the link between the power chain and trolleys: when a stop station is closed the carrier stops while the power chain continues to move. The pusher/trolley design allows multiple carriers to buffer behind a closed stop station.

Switches
Switches are installed where carriers need to divert to other directions. Pneumatic cylinders with position sensors actuate the switches. Depending on the layout position, switches can be self-switching. Switches are integrated into the main control system for monitoring and control.

Drive mechanism and safety
Drive selection depends on conveyor type and application; options include caterpillar drive units or helical-screw (worm) drive units. For safety all drive units are fitted with a torque limiter that disconnects the driving force between the gear motor and the drive unit in overload conditions.

Advantages
  • Compact bolted track design for easy assembly without welding; movable components located inside the track for protected operation.
  • Modular system with standard parts for flexible layout design and straightforward expansion.
  • PLC-based automatic control system with touchscreen interface and remote access capabilities.

Special components
Optional automatic lubrication units minimize chain and trolley wear by lubricating chain links and bearings at preset intervals. Special parts available on request include lift/drop sections, transfer chains and product rotation units.

Applications / additional solutions
Customized solutions can integrate dipping-tank crane systems to remove products from carriers for immersion processes and re-hang them after processing.
